What is the return policy for international orders?

International Return Policy

If you wish to return an order (self-ship only), kindly get in touch with our Customer Care team at customercare@houseofindya.com or on WhatsApp at +91-8929987349 within 10 days of receiving your order. Please read through the process and exceptions.

Step 1: Contact Customer Support to get a mandatory Return ID (returns without an ID will not be accepted).

Step 2: Ship your parcel to:

Conditions & Refund Details:

-Parcel should have return ID and order ID clearly mentioned on the outside of the package.

-Returned items must be unused and have all original tags intact.

-Items undergo a warehouse quality check upon arrival. Refund will be processed as per the quality check approval.

-Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 24–48 business hours.

-Import charges will be deducted from the item's product value before calculating the final refund amount.

Exceptions:

-No returns or exchanges on Jewellery or Custom-tailored items.

Please note, the outfit may be intentionally tailored with some ease for a comfortable fit.

What are the shipping charges on International orders?

All shipping charges on Apparels, Jewellery and Accessories are flat irrespective of the order size and weight, for Food, Wellness and Spiritual, shipping charges are calculated as per the actual weight of the products, with a minimum of USD 15 applied. Please find the shipping charges below.

What delivery methods do you use?

All international orders are sent through DHL and FedEx.

How do international duties and taxes work?

Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and will not be able to define the cost as it varies from country to country.No additional duties will be charged upon delivery in the USA and Canada. For all other countries, additional duties may be charged as per that country's import policy.However, no duty is applicable on the specified order value for the below list of countries.

How do I cancel my international order?

Order cancellations are not applicable once the order is confirmed. For any queries, feel free to contact us via WhatsApp at +91-8929987349 or email us at customercare@houseofindya.com.

What if I don't want to pay my international duties and taxes?

If you choose to not pay duties and taxes and refuse to accept the delivery of the product, the refund will be made after deducting the import charges we incur to ship the product back to India. If the return charges are higher than the order refund amount, no refund will be made

What if my order includes apparel or jewellery?

Small cart orders below the free shipping limit will be delivered in 15 days when combined with apparel or jewellery.

What should I do if I receive a damaged or expired item?

Please contact our customer support within 48 hours of delivery for assistance.
